Finding housing in Denmark
Start with the total housing cost
Compare rent together with utilities, deposit, prepaid rent and moving costs. Ask what is included and what must be paid separately.
Check the agreement
Read the lease before transferring money. Confirm the landlord or agent, the address, move-in date, deposit terms and notice rules. Be cautious with requests for payment before you can verify the property and contracting party.
Registration matters
If you need CPR registration, confirm that the accommodation can be used as your registered address and that the documentation is sufficient for your situation.
